1. Ensure that you are in a safe and well-lit area.
2. Insert your key into the ignition switch.
3. Press and hold the "Unlock" button on your key fob while turning the key clockwise to the "On" position. Hold both for approximately 3-5 seconds.
4. If the security light on the dashboard turns off or begins to flash rapidly, release the key and the "Unlock" button.
5. Start the vehicle by turning the key further clockwise.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 if the anti-theft system does not disengage after the first attempt.
