*WARNING:* Be careful when removing screws; liftglass and lower window will fall into cargo area.
Follow the steps below to remove the liftglass:
1. If the window is tinted it is advised to roll the window down approximately half way.
2. Insert the rubber stoppers into the window opening above the liftglass to prevent the glass from falling once it is removed.
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver remove the two Phillips screws that hold the trim piece along the top of the tailgate under the glass from the inside. There are two of them.
4. Have a helper hold the liftglass in place. If you are working by yourself, prop it up with something.
5. Slide a flat screwdriver between the trim and the glass to release the clips holding the trim piece in place.
6. There are two screws located on either side of the trim near the latch mechanism holding the glass in place. You can use a Phillips head to remove them.
7. Have a helper hold the glass again and remove the trim piece.
8. Have your helper hold the glass firmly as you remove the two nuts holding the liftglass in place.
9. Remove the glass by lifting the outside up and out.
