1. Open the hood of the vehicle and locate the electrical connector harness underneath. Unclip it from the mirror assembly.
2. Next, remove the glass from the mirror housing by prying the two pieces of the assembly apart. Be careful not to break it or cut your fingers.
3. After removing the glass, remove the three Phillips head screws holding the mirror assembly to the vehicle along with the one bolt.
4. Once these are removed, you should be able to disconnect the wiring from the motor and pull it out of the vehicle.
5. To replace the mirror, reverse these steps with a new part and reattach all of the screws and bolts.
6. Reconnect the electrical harness, clip it into place and press the mirror assembly into place until it clicks.
