1. Open the hood.
2. Locate the DRL module, which is usually located on the driver's side fender near the headlight.
3. Unplug the electrical connector from the DRL module.
4. Remove the two bolts that hold the DRL module in place.
5. Remove the DRL module from the vehicle.
6. Close the hood.
Note: Once you disable the daytime running lights, they will no longer function as a safety feature to increase your visibility to other drivers.
