1. Park your Tahoe on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Open the rear hatch of your Tahoe.
3. Locate the two Phillips-head screws that hold the license plate housing in place.
4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws.
5. Gently pry the license plate housing away from the body of your Tahoe.
6. Locate the license plate bulb socket.
7. Twist the license plate bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
8. Remove the old license plate bulb from the socket.
9. Insert the new license plate bulb into the socket.
10. Twist the license plate bulb socket clockwise to secure it in place.
11. Reattach the license plate housing to the body of your Tahoe.
12. Insert the two Phillips-head screws and tighten them securely.
13. Close the rear hatch of your Tahoe.
Test the license plate light to make sure it is working properly.
