1. Park your car on a flat surface and engage the parking brake. Allow the engine to cool down if the car was recently running.
2. Identify the headlight assembly that needs to be replaced by locating it at the front of the vehicle.
3. Open the hood of the vehicle to gain access to the headlights.
4. Locate the bolts or screws holding the headlight assembly in place. Depending on the model and year of your vehicle, there might be two or three bolts or screws securing the assembly.
5. Use a socket wrench or screwdriver to remove the bolts or screws.
6. Once the bolts or screws are removed, you may need to gently pry the headlight assembly out of its housing.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector on the back of the headlight assembly by pressing the release tab and pulling the connector apart.
8. Now, place the new headlight assembly into the vehicle's housing and secure it using the bolts or screws you removed earlier.
9. Plug the electrical connector back into the socket until it clicks into place.
10. Test the headlight to ensure it is working correctly.
11. Repeat steps 3 to 10 for the other headlight assembly if needed.
