Step 1: Remove the door panel
1. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover on the inside door handle.
2. Remove the two Phillips-head screws that are exposed.
3. Use the trim removal tool to pry off the door panel. Start at the bottom and work your way up.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the power window switch and the door lock switch.
5. Set the door panel aside.
Step 2: Remove the molding clips
1. Look for the plastic molding clips that hold the front door molding in place.
2. Use the pliers to squeeze the clips and pull them out.
3. Set the clips aside.
Step 3: Remove the front door molding
1. Once all of the clips have been removed, you can carefully pry off the front door molding.
2. Start at one end and work your way to the other.
3. Be careful not to damage the paint on your car.
Step 4: Reinstall the front door molding
1. Align the front door molding with the door panel.
2. Reinstall the plastic molding clips.
3. Use the pliers to squeeze the clips until they snap into place.
4. Reinstall the door panel.
5. Replace the two Phillips-head screws.
6. Snap the plastic cover back onto the inside door handle.
7. That is how you remove the front door molding of a 300sdl.
