2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Raise the front of the vehicle using a jack and jack stands.
4. Remove the front wheels and tires.
5. Remove the splash guard from under the vehicle.
6. Locate the tie rod ends on both sides of the steering rack.
7. Use a wrench to loosen the tie rod nuts and disconnect the tie rods from the steering rack.
8. Locate the two bolts that secure the steering rack to the front subframe.
9. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts and remove the steering rack from the vehicle.
