1. Check the fuse. The fuse for the blinkers and hazards is located in the fuse box under the hood of the truck. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
2. Check the flasher relay. The flasher relay is located in the fuse box under the hood of the truck. It is a small, black box with a green connector. If the flasher relay is faulty, replace it with a new flasher relay.
3. Check the bulbs. The bulbs for the blinkers and hazards are located in the front and rear of the truck. If a bulb is burned out, replace it with a new bulb of the same type.
4. Check the wiring. If the fuse, flasher relay, and bulbs are all good, the problem may be in the wiring. Inspect the wiring for any damage or corrosion. If you find any damaged or corroded wiring, repair or replace it as necessary.
5. Check the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch is located on the steering column. If the turn signal switch is faulty, it may not send power to the blinkers and hazards. To check the turn signal switch, turn the key to the "ON" position and move the turn signal lever up and down. If the blinkers and hazards do not work, the turn signal switch may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
6. Check the hazard switch. The hazard switch is located on the dashboard. If the hazard switch is faulty, it may not send power to the blinkers and hazards. To check the hazard switch, turn the key to the "ON" position and press the hazard switch. If the blinkers and hazards do not work, the hazard switch may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
