- Replacement Windshield Washer Pump

Instructions:
1. Open the hood and remove the plastic cover to access the washer fluid reservoir.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal on the car battery.
3. Remove the cap to the windshield washer fluid reservoir and drain the fluid into a container.
4. Locate the windshield washer pump. It is usually at the bottom of the reservoir.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector to the pump.
6. Remove the bolt holding pump to the reservoir using the socket wrench set.
7. Pull the pump out of the reservoir.
8. Place a new O-ring on the inlet and outlet ports of the new pump.
9. Insert the new pump into the reservoir and secure it using the bolt.
10. Connect the electrical connector to the pump.
11. Fill the reservoir with fresh windshield washer fluid.
12. Replace the cap on the reservoir.
13. Reattach the negative terminal to the car battery.
14. Close the hood.
Tips:
- Be careful when draining the fluid as it may contain antifreeze, which can be harmful.
- Test the new pump before you close the hood. Turn the key to the "On" position and turn on the windshield wipers. The pump should start running.
