Disconnect the battery.
Locate the headlight assembly you wish to replace. It is found behind the front grille.
Remove the grille carefully to access the backside of the headlight. Some Caprice models may have screws or clips holding the grille in place.
Find and disconnect the electrical connector attached to the backside of the headlight. Some connectors may have a locking tab that must be depressed before separating.
Remove the mounting nuts or bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place. There are typically two or three mounting points.

Position the new headlight assembly into place and secure it using the mounting nuts or bolts.
Reconnect the electrical connector.
Reattach the grille to the vehicle.
Reconnect the battery.
