- New window motor
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical accidents from happening while working on the window motor.
2. Remove the door panel. Start by removing the screws holding the door panel in place. You will need to use a Phillips screwdriver for this. Once you have removed all the screws, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the door panel off the door. Be careful not to break the door panel clips
3. Remove the old window motor. Once you have removed the door panel, you will be able to see the window motor. It is located in the door near the window. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the bolts that hold the window motor in place. You will need to use a 10mm socket wrench for this.
4. Install the new window motor. Place the new window motor in place and secure it with the bolts you removed earlier. Tighten the bolts until they are snug.
5. Reconnect the electrical connector.
6. Test the window motor. Connect the battery and turn on the ignition. Test the window motor to make sure it works.
7. Reinstall the door panel. Replace the door panel and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
Tips:
- If you have trouble removing the door panel, you can try using a pry bar to help you.
- Be careful not to drop the window motor.
