Short in the Wiring System. A short in the wiring system can cause the ignition fuse to blow because it connects two wires that are not supposed to be connected. This can happen if wires are damaged or if there is a loose connection. To check for a short, visually inspect the wiring system and look for any damage or loose connections. If you find a short, disconnect it and fix it by properly connecting the wires.
Faulty Ignition Coil. A faulty ignition coil can cause the ignition fuse to blow because it creates too much current draw. If an ignition coil is shorted or has an internal fault, it can draw too much current and blow the fuse. To check the ignition coil, disconnect it from the circuit. If the fuse does not blow after the ignition coil is disconnected, then the coil is the problem and should be replaced.
