How do you remove a stuck brake rotor on 2500 Chevrolet pickup?

To remove a stuck brake rotor on a 2500 Chevrolet pickup, you will need the following tools:

• A breaker bar

• A socket wrench set

• A punch

• A hammer

• A pry bar

Here are the steps on how to remove a stuck brake rotor on a 2500 Chevrolet pickup:

1. Loosen the lug nuts. Use the socket wrench set to loosen the lug nuts on the wheel that is attached to the stuck brake rotor. Do not remove the lug nuts completely.

2. Jack up the truck. Place the floor jack under the frame of the truck, near the wheel with the stuck brake rotor. Raise the truck until the wheel is off the ground.

3. Remove the lug nuts and wheel. Use the socket wrench set to remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.

4. Remove the brake caliper. Use the socket wrench set to remove the bolts that hold the brake caliper in place. Carefully remove the brake caliper from the rotor. Be careful not to damage the brake lines.

5. Dislodge the stuck brake rotor. Use the pry bar to pry the brake rotor off the hub. If the rotor is still stuck, use the hammer and punch to knock it loose. Be careful not to damage the hub.

6. Install the new brake rotor. Place the new brake rotor on the hub. Make sure that the rotor is seated properly.

7. Reinstall the brake caliper. Use the socket wrench set to reinstall the bolts that hold the brake caliper in place.

8. Reinstall the wheel and lug nuts. Put the wheel back on the hub and reinstall the lug nuts. Tighten the lug nuts until they are snug.

9. Lower the truck. Use the floor jack to lower the truck until the tires are on the ground.

10. Test the brakes. Pump the brake pedal several times to make sure that the brakes are working properly.
