Identify the window crank. It is located on the inside of the car door, on the side of the window.
Remove the door panel. To do this, you will need to remove the screws that hold the door panel in place. The screws are usually located around the edges of the door panel, and they may be covered with plastic caps.
Once the door panel is removed, you will see the window regulator. The window crank is attached to the window regulator by a bolt.
Loosen the bolt that holds the window crank in place. You will need to use a wrench to do this.
Once the bolt is loosened, you can remove the window crank. To do this, simply pull the crank off of the window regulator.
Reinstall the door panel. Once the window crank is removed, you can reinstall the door panel. Simply reverse the steps that you took to remove the door panel.
