1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Remove the three screws that hold the plastic trim piece at the base of the mirror to the door.
4. Pry up the trim piece and remove it from the door.
5. Disconnect the mirror control switch from the mirror by pressing down on the release button and pulling the connector apart.
6. Disconnect the heating element connector from the back of the mirror by pressing down on the release lever and pulling the connector apart.
7. Remove the three nuts that hold the mirror to the door.
8. Remove the mirror from the door.
9. Remove the old mirror from the mirror mount by pushing it forward until it comes out of the retainer clip.
10. Position the new mirror in the mirror mount and push it forward until it snaps into the retainer clip.
11. Reverse steps one through nine to install the new mirror.
