1) Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2) Locate the light bulb in the automatic gear shifter column. It should be located near the bottom of the column, just above the gear selector.
3) Press the release button located near the lightbulb to release the old light bulb housing from the shifter column.
4) Hold the new bulb by its base and gently push in the bulb until it is fully seated inside the socket.
5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 if there are additional light bulbs that need to be replaced in the shifter column.
6) Test the new light bulbs to ensure they are working properly by turning on the headlights.
7) Reinstall the shifter column cover and any additional components that were removed during the repair.
