- Two working keyless remotes
- The vehicle's original key
Instructions:
1. Sit in the driver's seat and close all the doors. Make sure there are no keys in the ignition.
2. Insert the original key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Then turn the key back to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
3. Within 10 seconds of removing the key from the ignition, press and hold the "Unlock" button on the first working keyless remote, and while continuing to hold it down, press and hold the "Lock" button. Continue holding both buttons for at least 10 seconds or until the doors lock and unlock (some models).
4. Within 10 seconds of the doors locking and unlocking, repeat step 3 with the second working keyless remote. When you press the buttons on the original remote both doors on the vehicle should either lock with you holding the unlock button or unlock when holding the lock button on the remote
Your new program for the keyless remotes is now saved, and both remotes should be synchronized with the vehicle.
