1) Remove the speaker grille.
2) Disconnect the speaker wires from the speaker terminals.
3) Remove the speaker mounting screws and remove the speaker from the vehicle.
4) Place a new speaker in the vehicle and secure it with the mounting screws.
5) Connect the speaker wires to the speaker terminals.
6) Replace the speaker grille.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. This is to prevent any electrical shock while you are working on the speakers.
2. Remove the door panel. There are usually a few screws that hold the door panel in place. Once you have removed the screws, you can pry the door panel off carefully using a flat-head screwdriver.
3. Locate the speaker. The speaker is usually located behind a plastic cover. You will need to remove the plastic cover to access the speaker.
4. Disconnect the speaker wires. There are usually two speaker wires, one positive and one negative. You can disconnect the speaker wires by simply unplugging them from the speaker.
5. Remove the speaker mounting screws. There are usually four speaker mounting screws. Once you have removed the speaker mounting screws, you can remove the speaker from the vehicle.
6. Install the new speaker. Place the new speaker in the vehicle and secure it with the speaker mounting screws.
7. Connect the speaker wires. Connect the positive speaker wire to the positive speaker terminal and the negative speaker wire to the negative speaker terminal.
8. Replace the plastic cover. Replace the plastic cover that covers the speaker.
9. Replace the door panel. Replace the door panel and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
10. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Reconnect the negative battery cable that you disconnected earlier.
