1. Sit in the driver's seat and turn the ignition to the "ON" position but do not start the car.
2. Find the SRS airbag light switch. In the 1995 Mustang, it's usually a small, black button located under the passenger side dashboard near the glove box.
3. Press and hold the SRS airbag light switch for about five seconds. The SRS airbag light should flash several times and then turn off.
4. Release the SRS airbag light switch and turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
5. Start the car and check to see if the SRS airbag light is off. If the light is still on, repeat steps 1-4 until the light goes off.
WARNING: If the SRS airbag light does not go off after you've followed these steps, there may be a problem with the SRS airbag system. In this case, you should have your car inspected by a qualified mechanic.
