Where is the PCV Valve on a 2001 Honda Civic and how do you replace it?

Locate the PCV Valve:

1. Open the hood of your Honda Civic.

2. Locate the engine cover, which is usually made of plastic.

3. Remove the engine cover by unlatching it or unscrewing the bolts that hold it in place.

4. Once the engine cover is removed, you will see the valve cover, which is located at the top of the engine.

5. The PCV valve is usually located on the side of the valve cover, near the back of the engine.

6. It is a small, cylindrical-shaped valve with a hose attached to it.

Replace the PCV Valve:

1. Once you have located the PCV valve, you can replace it by following these steps:

2. Use a wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the PCV valve in place.

3. Once the bolt is loose, you can remove the PCV valve by pulling it straight out of the valve cover.

4. Be careful not to spill any oil that may be inside the PCV valve.

5. Insert the new PCV valve into the valve cover and tighten the bolt to hold it in place.

6. Reinstall the engine cover and you are finished.
