1. Make sure the vehicle is in Park.
2. Turn off the engine, then turn it back on.
3. Do not press the brake pedal.
4. Press and hold the Trip button on the left side of the steering wheel.
5. While pressing the Trip button, turn the ignition key to the ON position (but do not start the engine).
6. Continue holding both the Trip button and turn the key back to the OFF position.
7. While still holding the Trip button, turn the key ON again, but again, do not start the car.
8. Continue to hold the Trip button until the maintenance light turns off.
9. Once the maintenance light has turned off, release the Trip button.
