1. Gather your tools and materials. You will need:
* A new PCV valve (Honda part number 17130-PLM-A01)
* A flat-head screwdriver
* A Phillips-head screwdriver
* A pair of pliers
* A funnel
* New motor oil (if needed)
2. Locate the PCV valve. The PCV valve is located on the left side of the engine bay, near the top of the engine. It is a small, black valve with a hose connected to it.
3. Disconnect the hose from the PCV valve. Use the flat-head screwdriver to loosen the clamp on the hose. Once the clamp is loose, pull the hose off of the PCV valve.
4. Remove the PCV valve. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the PCV valve in place. Once the screws are removed, lift the PCV valve out of the engine.
5. Install the new PCV valve. Place the new PCV valve in the engine and tighten the two screws.
6. Reconnect the hose to the PCV valve. Slide the hose onto the PCV valve and tighten the clamp.
7. Add new motor oil if necessary. If the oil level is low, add new motor oil to the engine until the oil level is full.
8. Start the engine and check for leaks. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks around the PCV valve. If you see any leaks, tighten the screws or the clamp until the leak stops.
