1. Park your car in a safe location and ensure the parking brake is on.
2. Locate the Spare Tire Release on your car's floor or dash.
3. Pull or press the release, and the hatch should pop open slightly.
4. Once it is open, you can use a flathead screwdriver to pry it up and remove it entirely.
5. Now you'll see the lug nuts holding the tire in place. Use a lug wrench to loosen and remove lug nuts.
6. Remove the lug nuts and spare tire.
7. Place the spare tire in your vehicle and replace the lug nuts. Be sure to tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.
8. Close the hatch and reinstall the spare tire cover(cover pops right in place).
