Does the Honda Odyssey have self adjusting valves?

The Honda Odyssey does not have self adjusting valves. To check the valve clearance on a 2018 Honda Odyssey, use a feeler gauge to measure the clearance between the camshaft and the valve. The clearance should be between 0.008 and 0.012 inches for the intake valves and between 0.010 and 0.014 inches for the exhaust valves. If the clearance is not within these specifications, the valves will need to be adjusted. If adjustment is needed, replace the valve cover gasket, clean all gasket mating surfaces, and apply sealant before reinstalling the valve cover. Tighten the valve cover bolts in a crisscross pattern, gradually tightening each bolt in several steps until the specified torque is reached.
