1. Gather the necessary tools and parts.
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- New door latch-handle (make sure it is the correct part number for your vehicle)
- Masking tape
2. Remove the door panel.
1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the door panel in place.
2. Once all the screws are removed, carefully pry the door panel off the door, starting from the bottom and working your way up.
3. Disconnect any electrical connectors or switches that are attached to the door panel.
3. Remove the old door latch-handle.
1. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the cover off the door latch-handle.
2. Once the cover is removed, you will see two screws holding the door latch-handle in place. Remove these screws.
3. Lift the door latch-handle out of the door.
4. Install the new door latch-handle.
1. Place the new door latch-handle into the door.
2. Insert the two screws that hold the door latch-handle in place.
3. Tighten the screws until the door latch-handle is secure.
4. Replace the cover on the door latch-handle.
5. Reattach the door panel.
1. Connect any electrical connectors or switches that were attached to the door panel.
2. Carefully align the door panel with the door and press it into place until it snaps into position.
3. Replace the screws that hold the door panel in place.
6. Test the door latch-handle.
1. Open and close the door several times to make sure that the door latch-handle is working properly.
