1. Turn off the ignition and let the engine cool down for at least 10 minutes.
2. Open the hood and locate the negative battery terminal. It is usually marked with a "NEG" or "-" sign.
3. Disconnect the negative battery terminal using a wrench.
4. Wait for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect the negative battery terminal.
5. Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine.
6. Press and hold the accelerator pedal for at least 10 seconds.
7. Start the engine and let it run for at least 30 seconds.
8. Turn off the ignition and allow the engine to cool down for at least 10 minutes.
9. The OBDII drive cycle has now been reset.
