2. Close all of the doors on the RAV4 and leave the driver's door open.
3. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine.
4. Press and hold the "Lock" button on your key fob for at least three seconds.
5. The door locks will automatically lock and unlock once.
6. Turn the key to the "Off" position and remove it from the ignition.
7. The automatic door locks are now set.
