How do you change the rear suspension arm bushes on a1999 Honda crv?

Here are the steps to change the rear suspension arm bushes on a 1999 Honda CR-V:

Before you begin, ensure you have the correct tools and safety equipment.

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake.

2. Chock the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

3. Jack up the rear of the vehicle using a jack and jack stands. Place the jack stands under the vehicle's frame rails, just behind the front wheels.

4. Remove the rear wheels.

5. Locate the rear suspension arm bushes. There are two bushes per arm, one on the front and one on the back.

6. Use a pry bar to pry the old bushings out of the control arms.

7. Clean the control arms and the new bushings with a wire brush.

8. Apply a thin coat of grease to the new bushings.

9. Press the new bushings into the control arms using a press or a sledgehammer and a block of wood.

10. Reinstall the rear wheels.

11. Lower the vehicle off the jack stands.

12. Test the suspension by driving the vehicle over a few bumps. The suspension should feel smooth and responsive.

Note: You may need an alignment after changing the rear suspension arm bushes.
