Materials Needed:
Flat-head screwdriver
Pry bar
Cloth or towel
1. Park your car on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the hubcaps on your Elantra. They are typically round plastic covers that fit over the wheels.
3.Pry Open the Pry Open the hubcap with a flat-head screwdriver. Carefully insert the flat-head screwdriver between the hubcap and the wheel rim.
Gently pry the hubcap outward until it pops off.
4. Remove the hubcap. Once the pry tool is inserted, pry outward on the pry tool to remove the hubcap. Be careful not to damage the hubcap or the wheel rim.
5. Repeat the process for the other hubcaps on your Elantra.
Here are some additional tips for removing hubcaps:
1. Be gentle when prying the hubcaps off. Too much force could damage the hubcaps or the wheel rims.
2. If you meet resistance, stop prying and consult your car's owner manual for further instructions.
3. If the hubcaps are especially tight, you can try using a pry bar. Insert the pry bar between the hubcap and the wheel rim and gently pry the hubcap off.
4. Place a cloth or towel between the pry bar and the wheel rim to protect the wheel rim from scratches.
