How do you change the Nissan Murano license plate lights?

To replace a license plate light bulb on a first generation Nissan Murano (2003-2007), follow these steps:

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Open the trunk.

3. Locate the license plate light assembly, which is on the inside of the trunk lid.

4. There will be two screws on either side of the license plate light assembly; use a screwdriver to loosen and remove these screws.

5. Once the screws are removed, you can carefully pry off the license plate light assembly from the trunk lid.

6. Once the light assembly has been removed, you will see the old license plate light bulb.

7. To remove the old bulb, gently turn the bulb counterclockwise until it becomes loose and pops out.

8. Insert the new license plate light bulb into the socket and turn clockwise until it is secure.

9. Replace the license plate light assembly and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.

Make sure to dispose of the old light bulb properly and keep the new light bulb in a safe place for future use.
