Instructions
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
3. Remove the timing belt cover.
4. Loosen the timing belt tensioner pulley and remove the timing belt.
5. Clean the timing belt pulleys.
6. Inspect the timing belt pulleys for wear or damage.
7. Inspect the water pump for leaks.
8. Replace the timing belt tensioner pulley and spring if necessary.
9. Install the new timing belt.
10. Tighten the timing belt tensioner pulley to the specified torque.
11. Check the timing belt tension using a timing belt tension gauge.
12. Install the timing belt cover.
13. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
14. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
15. Check for leaks.
Tips
* Make sure that the crankshaft is at TDC (Top Dead Center) before removing the timing belt.
* Use a new timing belt and tensioner pulley when replacing the timing belt.
* Do not overtighten the timing belt.
