How do you adjust the clutch on a Daewoo lanos?

To properly adjust the clutch on a Daewoo Lanos, follow the steps below:

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.

2. Locate the clutch cable assembly near the transmission. It's usually a black cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the transmission.

3. Look for the clutch cable adjustment nut, which is typically located near where the cable connects to the transmission. This nut is usually a 10 mm or 12 mm hex nut.

4. Loosen the locknut on the clutch cable adjustment.

5. Turn the clutch cable adjustment nut clockwise to tighten the clutch cable or counterclockwise to loosen it.

6. While turning the adjustment nut, watch the clutch fork, which is located on the transmission. The clutch fork should move when you turn the adjustment nut.

7. Adjust the clutch cable until the clutch pedal has about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of free play before it starts to engage the clutch.

8. Once the clutch is adjusted correctly, tighten the locknut on the clutch cable.

9. Start the engine and test the clutch. The clutch should engage smoothly and without any slipping.

Note: If you are not comfortable making adjustments to the clutch, it's best to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic or repair shop.
