- A flat head screwdriver
- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A 10mm socket wrench
- A pair of pliers
Instructions:
1.) Open the hood of your Altima and locate the windshield washer fluid tank. It is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the firewall.
2.) Use the flat head screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover on the top of the windshield washer fluid tank.
3.) Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the windshield washer fluid tank in place.
4.) Use the 10mm socket wrench to remove the two nuts that hold the windshield washer fluid tank in place.
5.) Carefully lift the windshield washer fluid tank out of the engine compartment.
6.) Use the pliers to disconnect the washer fluid hose from the tank.
7.) Remove the old windshield washer fluid tank and replace it with a new one.
8.) Reinstall the washer fluid hose, the nuts, the screws, and the plastic cover.
9.) Close the hood of your Altima.
10.) Add windshield washer fluid to the new windshield washer fluid reservoir!
You have now successfully removed the windshield washer fluid tank from your 2003 Nissan Altima sedan.
