2. Remove the cotter pin that holds the spring to the clutch pedal.

3. Pull the spring off of the clutch pedal.

4. Install the new spring on the clutch pedal. Make sure that the spring is seated properly in the groove on the pedal.

5. Insert the cotter pin through the hole in the clutch pedal and the spring.

6. Spread the ends of the cotter pin to secure it in place.
