Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Loosen the lug nuts. Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the wheel that needs the wheel bearing replaced. Do not remove the lug nuts completely.
2. Jack up the car. Use the jack and jack stands to raise the car so you can access the wheel's underside.
3. Remove the wheel. Completely remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
4. Remove the brake caliper. Use the socket set to remove the bolts holding the brake caliper onto the wheel hub. Then, hang the caliper out of the way using a piece of wire or string.
5. Remove the brake disc. Use the socket set to remove the bolts holding the brake disc onto the wheel hub. Then, pull the brake disc off.
6. Remove the wheel bearing assembly. Use the pry bar and hammer to pry the wheel bearing assembly out of the wheel hub.
7. Install the new wheel bearing assembly. Press the new wheel bearing assembly into the wheel hub using a press or by hand.
8. Reattach the brake disc. Place the brake disc onto the wheel hub and secure it with the bolts you removed earlier.
9. Reinstall the brake caliper. Hang the brake caliper back into place and secure it with the bolts you removed earlier.
10. Put the wheel back on. Place the wheel onto the wheel hub and secure it with the lug nuts you loosened earlier.
11. Tighten the lug nuts. Use the lug wrench to tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern to 80 ft-lbs.
12. Lower the car. Lower the car off the jack stands.
