How do you disassemble the dash on a 2007 Honda Civic?

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical damage from occurring while you are working on the dash.

2. Remove the steering wheel. There are two bolts on the back of the steering wheel. Remove these bolts and then pull the steering wheel towards you to remove it.

3. Remove the instrument panel. There are four screws that hold the instrument panel in place. Remove these screws and then carefully remove the instrument panel.

4. Remove the center console. There are four screws that hold the center console in place. Remove these screws and then carefully remove the center console.

5. Remove the glove box. There are four screws that hold the glove box in place. Remove these screws and then carefully remove the glove box.

6. Remove the radio. There are four screws that hold the radio in place. Remove these screws and then carefully remove the radio.

7. Remove the climate control unit. There are four screws that hold the climate control unit in place. Remove these screws and then carefully remove the climate control unit.

8. Remove the dash. There are four screws that hold the dash in place. Remove these screws and then carefully remove the dash.

Once the dash is removed, you can access the components behind it, such as the HVAC system and the wiring harness.
