How do you reset the Maintenance Required light on a 2005 Honda Accord?

Step 1: Turn the ignition on and off three times, leaving the ignition in the on position the third time.

Step 2: Locate the trip reset button on the left side of the instrument panel.

Step 3: While holding the trip reset button, turn the key to the off position and then back to the on position two times.

Step 4: Release the trip reset button.

Step 5: The maintenance required light should now be reset.

Note: If the maintenance required light does not reset, you may need to have your vehicle serviced by a Honda dealer.
