How do you clean the IAC valve on a 1999 Honda CR-V?

1. Remove the air filter housing.

2. Remove the three screws holding the IAC valve in place.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the IAC valve.

4. Remove the IAC valve from the throttle body.

5. Spray the IAC valve with carburetor cleaner.

6. Let the IAC valve sit for a few minutes, then shake it and spray it again with carburetor cleaner.

7. Use a cotton swab to clean the inside of the IAC valve.

8. Reinstall the IAC valve, electrical connector, and air filter housing.
