How to Replace a Front Driver’s Side Fender on a 1999 Kia Sportage.

Tools Needed:

- Lug wrench

-Phillips head screwdriver

-Flat head screwdriver

-Ratchet set (10 mm and 12 mm)

-Pliers

-Hammer

Parts Needed:

- New Fender

-Fender Liner (Optional)

-Fender Bolts

-Fender Nuts

Instructions:

1. Loosen the lug nuts on the front driver's side wheel using the lug wrench.

2. Jack up the vehicle and place a jack stand underneath the frame for safety.

3. Remove the wheel using the lug wrench.

4. Unbolt the plastic fender liner from the inner fender using a 10mm socket.

5. Remove the bolts and nuts that secure the fender to the vehicle using a 12 mm socket.

6. Gently pry the fender away from the vehicle using a flathead screwdriver.

7. Disconnect any electrical connectors or hoses attached to the fender.

8. Apply a thin bead of sealant around the edges of the new fender.

9. Position the new fender onto the vehicle and loosely secure it with the bolts and nuts.

10. Tighten the bolts and nuts until the new fender is securely installed.

11. Reattach the electrical connectors or hoses that were disconnected.

12. Push the plastic fender liner back onto the inner fender and secure it using the bolts.

13. Reinstall the wheel and tighten the lug nuts.

14. Lower the vehicle and remove the jack stand.
