1. Park the car in a safe location, turn off the engine, and disconnect the battery's negative terminal.
2. Use a car stereo removal kit or pry tool to pry open the plastic cover on the dashboard to access the factory stereo.
3. Remove the four screws that secure the factory stereo in place.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna connector from the rear of the factory stereo.
5. Remove the factory stereo from the dashboard.
6. Insert the new stereo into the dashboard. Make sure that the stereo mounting bracket is secured to the dashboard.
7. Connect the wiring harness and antenna connector to the rear of the new stereo.
8. Replace the four screws that secure the new stereo in place.
9. Replace the plastic cover on the dashboard.
10. Reconnect the battery’s negative terminal and turn on the stereo to test it.
11. Tune in to your favorite radio station or insert a CD to enjoy your new stereo system.
