1. Locate the OBD-II port. It is usually under the dashboard, near the steering column.
2. Connect an OBD-II scanner to the port.
3. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
4. Navigate to the "Maintenance" menu on the scanner.
5. Select the option to "Reset Timing Belt Indicator."
6. Follow the prompts on the scanner to reset the indicator light.
7. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the scanner.
Note: If you do not have an OBD-II scanner, you can also reset the timing belt indicator light by disconnecting the battery for at least 30 minutes. However, this method may also reset other settings in your vehicle, so it is best to use an OBD-II scanner if possible.
