1. Ensure that all doors and the trunk are properly closed and locked.
2. Check whether your car has a factory reset button next to the clock - the image of an alarm clock with an arrow. If so, proceed with the next step.
3. Use a small object such as a ballpoint pen to press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds and then release it.
>If you do not see a reset button, you will have to disconnect and reconnect the car battery.
4. If your car doesn’t have a reset button, disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery for 30 seconds and reconnect it.
>Ensure that no key fobs or keys remain in the car as the alarm may activate and lock your keys inside.
5. Close and lock all the car doors and trunk and wait 60 seconds.
>The alarm will reset and the car doors will unlock.
To turn the alarm off or disarm the alarm without resetting it:
1. Insert the car key into the driver's door and unlock the car doors using the key.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. This should deactivate the alarm.
