- The immobilizer control unit is usually located under the dashboard, behind the glove compartment.
- Once you have located the control unit, disconnect the wiring harness that is connected to it.
Bypass the immobilizer chip.
- Cut wire that connected coil of ignition switch to immobilizer chip.
- Connect two terminals of bypass ignition coil switch wire together.
Start the engine.
- Insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.
- The engine should start and run normally.
Note: By bypassing the immobilizer, you are making your vehicle more susceptible to theft. If you are concerned about theft, you should consider installing a different anti-theft device.
