1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the serpentine belt.
3. Remove the alternator bracket bolt.
4. Remove the alternator stay bolt.
5. Remove the electrical connector from the alternator.
6. Remove the alternator.

- Be careful not to drop the alternator.
- Use a breaker bar to loosen the alternator bracket bolt if it is tight.
