Identify the alarm control unit. It is usually located under the dashboard, behind the glove box.
Disconnect the power supply to the alarm control unit. This can be done by removing the negative battery terminal or by unplugging the power connector to the alarm control unit.
Remove the alarm control unit. This may require removing some screws or bolts.
Once the alarm control unit is removed, the alarm will be disabled.
Note: Disabling the factory alarm may also disable other features of the vehicle, such as the remote keyless entry system. If you are not comfortable performing this procedure, it is best to consult with a qualified mechanic.
