1. Locate the vacuum cut valve. It is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the firewall. It is a small, black, cylindrical valve with two vacuum lines connected to it.
2. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the valve. Use a pair of pliers to gently pry the vacuum lines off of the valve. Be careful not to damage the vacuum lines.
3. Plug the vacuum lines. Use a pair of vacuum caps or plugs to plug the vacuum lines. This will prevent air from leaking into the engine.
4. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. This will allow the engine to adjust to the bypassed vacuum cut valve.
5. Test the vacuum cut valve bypass. Shift the transmission into gear and drive the vehicle. If the vehicle drives normally, then the vacuum cut valve bypass has been successful.
Note: By bypassing the vacuum cut valve, you are disabling the engine's ability to reduce emissions. This may cause the vehicle to fail an emissions test. It is recommended that you only bypass the vacuum cut valve if you are experiencing problems with the valve.
