Instructions
1. Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Chock the wheels that will not be lifted with a jack.
3. Jack up the car until the wheel that has the bad wheel bearing is off the ground.
4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
5. Remove the brake caliper by unbolting the two bolts that hold it in place. Hang the caliper out of the way with a piece of wire.
6. Pry off the dust cap on the wheel bearing with a pry bar.
7. Remove the cotter pin and nut from the wheel bearing.
8. Pull the wheel bearing off of the spindle with a slide hammer.
9. Clean the spindle and apply new grease.
10. Install the new wheel bearing by hand until it is seated properly.
11. Install the nut and cotter pin.
12. Reinstall the dust cap.
13. Reinstall the brake caliper.
14. Reinstall the wheel and lug nuts.
15. Lower the car back down to the ground.
Tips
* Be sure to use the correct size socket to remove the lug nuts.
* If the lug nuts are difficult to remove, you can use a breaker bar to help you.
* Be careful not to damage the brake caliper when you are removing or reinstalling it.
* Apply a generous amount of grease to the spindle and wheel bearing.
