1. Pull up the carpet on the driver's side of the footwell.
2. Locate the clutch cable adjusters. There are two adjusters, one is located at the top of the clutch pedal and the other is located at the bottom of the clutch pedal.
3. Use a 10mm socket to loosen the locknut on the top adjuster.
4. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to turn the adjuster screw until you feel the clutch pedal has about 1-inch of free play.
5. Tighten the locknut.
6. Use a 12mm socket to loosen the locknut on the bottom adjuster.
7. Turn the adjuster nut until the pedal has about 3-4 inches of travel before the clutch engages.
8. Tighten the locknut.
9. Test the clutch by starting the car and shifting into first gear. The car should not move until you release the clutch pedal.
10. If the clutch is not adjusted properly, repeat steps 3-8 until the clutch is adjusted correctly.
