1. Gather your tools and materials.
You will need:
- Replacement mirror
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flat head screwdriver
- A pry tool (optional)**
2. Prepare the replacement mirror.
- Remove the old mirror from the packaging and set aside the mounting bracket.
- Remove the glass from the replacement mirror by carefully prying it out with a flat-head screwdriver.
3. Remove the old mirror.
- Locate the three Phillips-head screws that hold the old mirror assembly to the door panel.
- Remove the screws and pull the mirror assembly off of the door.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the mirror.
4. Install the new mirror.
- Connect the electrical connector to the back of the new mirror assembly.
- Position the mirror assembly on the door and insert the three Phillips-head screws.
- Tighten the screws until the mirror is securely attached.
- Snap the glass into place.
5. Test the mirror.
- Turn on the ignition and check that the passenger mirror is working properly.
- Adjust the mirror as needed.
